Join attribute by field value in QGIS

Import the shapefile (follow this tutorial).

Import the table (follow this tutorial).

Take a look at the attribute table of the shapefile and table imported.

The two files have a common field but it is written differently: MUKEY in the shapefile, and MapUnitKey in the table.

We want to add the RatingStr field of the table to the shapefile's fields.
